These terms apply to your use of the Carefuge website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Carefuge Supported Living Services (“Carefuge”, “we”, “us”), a supported living accommodation provider based at Main Str. 74 Yardley rd, B27 6LG Acocks Green, Birmingham.

2. The information on this site

We take care to keep the site accurate and up to date, but property availability and service details change. Nothing on this website is an offer, a guarantee of a placement, or a binding commitment to provide accommodation or support.

Information about benefits, Housing Benefit, Universal Credit or eligibility is general guidance only. It is not welfare, financial or legal advice, and it does not replace advice from your local authority, the Department for Work and Pensions, or an independent adviser. Your own entitlement depends on your circumstances.

3. Referrals and enquiries

Submitting a referral form, a contact form or a call-back request through this site does not create a tenancy, a licence, or any obligation on us to offer accommodation. We assess each referral on its merits and respond as availability allows.

When you make a referral you confirm that the information you give is accurate; that where you are referring another person you have their consent or another lawful basis to share their information with us; and that you understand inaccurate or withheld information may mean we place someone in accommodation that is not suitable for them.

4. The website assistant

Our website includes an automated assistant. It gives general information and collects call-back requests. It is not a person, not a crisis service, and not a source of advice about your individual circumstances.

If you are in immediate danger, call 999. If you need housing help outside our opening hours, contact Birmingham City Council housing options or Shelter’s free helpline on 0808 800 4444.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false, misleading or malicious referrals; to submit anyone else’s personal information without a lawful basis; to attempt unauthorised access to the site or its server; to introduce malicious code; or to collect data from the site by automated means for marketing purposes.

6. Intellectual property

The Carefuge name, logo, page content, photographs and design are owned by Carefuge or used under licence. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or internal organisational use. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit any part of the site without our written permission.

7. Links to other websites

Where we link to other organisations, including local authorities and charities, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

8. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we provide this website “as is” and, to the extent permitted by law, are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information published on the site or from the site being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms affects the rights and obligations in any tenancy agreement, licence agreement or support agreement you enter into with us. Those documents take precedence over this page.

9. Complaints

If something goes wrong we want to hear about it. Our full complaints procedure is [link to complaints procedure / available on request].

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
